RC KALEI

RC KALEI is a lime mortar based on natural hydraulic lime (NHL 3.5) from St. -Astier and mineral fillers. In itself, it is a thin layer of mortar (2 - 4 mm) that provides a protective traditional structure to brick and stone. RC KALEI includes no cement and thus best approaches the ancient technique for the authentic finishing of exterior facades.

In humid weather, the lime shows the famous “cloud formation” and leaves the structure of the masonry visible. The correct dosage of lime and an ideal choice and structure of the granulometry of the fillers give RC KALEI excellent properties for applications in the restoration of facades.
