Oudsbergen Town Hall
The old town hall of Opglabbeek (in 2019, Meeuwen-Gruitrode and Opglabbeek merged to form Oudsbergen) was thoroughly restored both inside and out by Janssen brothers & Stargyp.
Inside, the walls were injected against rising moisture by using RC 310 ECO. In addition, all cracks and voids in the unstable walls were filled with RC PU Inject so that a firm surface was obtained again.
On the outside, the walls were completely stripped of the old plaster and re-plastered with a proprietary mixture of natural hydraulic lime from St. Astier NHL 3.5 with sand. A unique product that is the only one that has a cement-free certificate for natural hydraulic lime. It was also used RC Acryplast to make the mortar smoother. All molures were also renewed in this way.
