description

In Wilrijk, a rare modernist villa from the interwar period has undergone a full façade renovation. Designed by architect Louis De Belder in 1936 and built in 1937, Villa De Neef stands as one of the few remaining examples of modernist architecture in the prestigious "Den Brandt" garden suburb. This villa represents an important piece of architectural heritage in the Antwerp region.

The complete renovation was carried out by expert contractor Gevelrenovatie Remmers. For the restoration of the French facing brick, the high-quality product RC Nautil Mono was used, tinted in color P14. This breathable and lime-based restoration mortar ensures long-term durability while preserving the original character of the façade, combining historical accuracy with modern performance.
