description
The Drongengoedhoeve in Ursel (Knesselare) from 1746 is a listed building in the middle of the Drongengoed Forest and was restored in 2 phases.
During the first phase the entire wood skeleton was softblasted and treated with Sarpeco 910 to kill woodworm. Recuperation bricks were filled in the hollow spaces with lime mortar. The walls were finished with our 100% cement-free RC Kalei based on natural St-Astier hydraulic lime.
The second phase consists of installing a polished concrete floor that was finished with RC M050-LIT and RC M060+, these are respectively a hardener and a sealing product for concrete.
This restoration was carried out by the contractor Piet Willems from Maldegem.
